Alfred Hitchcock’s Rules For Watching Psycho

«We won’t allow you to cheat yourself. You must see PSYCHO from the very beginning. Therefore, do not expect to be admitted into the theatre after the start of each performance of the picture. We say no one — and we mean no one — not even the manager’s brother, the President of the United States, or the Queen of England (God bless her)!»

Reference: Potoo Bird

Brilliant, feast for the eyes! (via)

Potoos are a group of near passerine birds related to the nightjars and frogmouths. They are sometimes called Poor-me-ones, after their haunting calls. There are seven species in one genus, Nyctibius, in tropical Central and South America. (Wikipedia)

There's A Duck In My Guinness Pint

Maybe it's just me. Occasionally, I start seeing a duck in/on the head of my beer.

I BTW did a speed-sketch of the skeleton, the other day. Just for the fun of it...

Angoulême, April 2014

My dear friends at Tigobo Animation Studios are about to bring off their 5th edition of the magnificent 'Meet Ze Artists' event. From April 18th until April 20th 2014, artists such as Robert Valley and Eric Tiemens will rock Angouleme, France.

Here's some additional rough process material. The drawings here are BTW out of a large pool of unpublished and all new materials for my new book... of which more later.

Man Of The Abyss

Really, really great shot. At the first moment I was thinking this is a Seaquest film set of sorts. But anyways, the photo shows the Christ of the Abyss statue, located in the Mediterranean Sea right off San Fruttuoso on the Italian Riviera. (via Pour 15 Minutes...)

BTW, did you spot Patrick Star?

I had a lot of fun with this here. But, finally, I decided to go for a different idea instead. So, here you are, blog.

Sylvain Chomet's Simpsons Couch Gag

Well, I know, I'm late with sharing this. It's already all over the internet. But I couldn't resist sharing it here, too. It's so unbelievably well done.

I'm Playing Oldies, Am I?

Another sample from the very days I did all the line work on real paper with real pencils.

And this is (see below) like how I sketch today. Sort of. (via)
