COAT OF SMILES, parody art of iconic symbols. A duck's hat, a mouse's ears and a smiling yellow button. Three iconic things brought together in one artwork.

PLEASE NOTE, the displayed parody artworks of classical cartoon characters are not copies but distinct satiric imitations/caricatures, by exaggerating and transforming the original characters and their related indica (see 'Coat of Smiles') in a way that creates new originals and new meanings, different from the intentions of the originals.

Mordillo

I didn't blackmail him, in all honesty. I'm just heavily boasting here about that Mordillo had sent me a friend request on Facebook, completely out of the blue. And do you know what, I accepted :-)

"We're Nine Years Old Today" (Disneyland 1964)

This is an item which was given to cast members who were working on July 17th, 1964, Disneyland's ninth birthday. Plus instructions on the backside for placing the flower in. (via Stuff From The Park)

Another Giant Motorsuit

This is the South entrance of the Kunsthaus Graz museum where the Paperwalker show's currently running, until November 16th, 2014. The material here displays nicely the first idea I had for the exhibition's promo material, John Starduck arriving in a giant motorsuit at the museum. These are just rough blue test sketches but I guess you get an idea of what I was trying to come at still.

George was born without any specific biological spitfire feature, on account of this he's wearing a PW Inc °F3000x heavy duty gas turbine.

Child

Can you see the child in my eyes?

Bruno Bozzetto @ Paperwalker

Here's photo "evidence" Bruno Bozzetto was at the very opening of the Paperwalker exhibit. What a pleasure that was. BTW, in this connection big thanks to The Daily Cartoonist for spotlighting the show, my inbox went nuts after it. Photos ©Jorj Konstantinov

Going Duck

For more than a year now, we've been working on a comprehensive new project. Until the official reveal-date, all material is now hermetically sealed in Paperwalker Studios' Sphere-Locker Apparatus©. On September 24th, 2014, this very apparatus will be finally unlocked and put in continuous open-mode. I'm so much looking forward to this!
